Stethoscope for Telemedicine

Has anyone successfully used an electronic stethoscope remotely to stream audio in a consultation? I’ve looked at the main options but can’t clearly see that this is possible. Most seem to require some proprietary app which when won’t pass audio into a browser session.

We’ve used the ThinkLabs One. It’s as easy as plugging in the 3.5mm jack. It basicallly acts as an external microphone and they include adapters so the local user can listen through headphones at the same time. Makes for a great teaching tool as well.

Did you know that we now have a feature in beta testing for greater audio sensitivity when using connected devices–such as a stethoscope for auscultation?
